ABOUT ARTS THERAPY
Arts Therapy is a therapeutic approach using creativity as a means of exploring, expressing and communicating. It engages the mind and body to curiously seek out what may be blocking or preventing us from moving forward.

It can be useful in reducing stress, building capacity, developing awareness, acknowledging embodied presence, emotional health and supporting personal change and personal autonomy.

Arts therapy use a selection of modalities including (but not limited to) paint, markers, clay, collage, movement and sound to uncover the complexities of life in a safe environment.

Arts Therapy supports the lived experience of all persons, at any stage of life. A trained therapist supports the individual participants needs and helps guide and hold the space.
