ABOUT KIMBERLY

Kimberly (she/her) is a trauma informed Melbourne based Arts Therapist (AThR) who supports people who experience mental ill health, recovery from addiction, aged care and young people in community and clinical settings. Her interest is in working with people, their stories and experiences and invites them to be curious in a creative therapy space.  She uses all modalities however leans towards visual arts including drawing and painting. 

 

Kimberly's intention is to create and provide a non-judgemental, person-centred space, to work multi-modally and safety to open ourselves up to the questions we sometimes choose not to answer.  

 

As a former designer, Kimberly understands the challenges of opening up to the arts therapy space, and can support people to slowly and curiously explore without limitations.

Kimberly has a Bachelor of Visual Arts and is a registered Art Therapist, having completed her Masters of Therapeutic Arts Practise at MIECAT in 2022.  She is a registered with ANZACATA, holds a working with children check and an updated police check.  Kimberly also holds a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health from Victoria University.
