Additional Information

Practical Details

Session Length & Structure
A regular hypno-psychotherapy session runs for [1 hour], following an initial 1.5-hour first session. Each session typically begins with a short check-in, before moving into the main therapeutic work, and closing with time to reflect and ground before you leave.

What to Wear/Bring
There's nothing special you need to bring to a session. It's helpful to wear loose, comfortable clothing, as sessions involve periods of deep relaxation, and you'll want to feel physically at ease throughout.

In-Person, Online, or Both
Sessions are available [in-person in Melbourne / Adelaide/ online / both], so you can choose whichever suits you best.

Recording Policy
With your permission, sessions can be recorded so you can revisit guided relaxation techniques at home between sessions, supporting the work we do together.

Setting Expectations

How You Might Feel Afterwards

Everyone responds a little differently after a session. Some people feel deeply relaxed or slightly tired, while others feel more energised or clear-headed. Both are completely normal, and any effects are usually short-lived.

Building Change Over Time
Hypno-psychotherapy tends to work best as a process rather than a single fix. Change often builds gradually across sessions, as we work together to shift patterns at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.

Self-Practice Between Sessions
You may be invited to try some simple techniques or reflections between sessions. This isn't compulsory, but many clients find it helps reinforce the work we do together.

Private Health Benefits

Please check with your provider, but I can accept private health benefits depnding on the level of cover you have.
