Introduction to Art
Therapy

Individual In-Person Art Therapy

1 hour

​

Individual art therapy provides an opportunity to express emotions, explore experiences, and develop sense of self by engaging through creative expression. The initial session will centre around getting to know you, your expected goals and to determine what approach would be best suited to your unique experience.

​

Sessions run for a duration of 60 minutes. Art materials supplied. No art skills required, suitable for all ages.

​

These can be held in the studio or in your home (outreach).

Therapy

Individual art therapy provides an opportunity to express emotions, explore experiences, and develop sense of self by engaging through creative expression. Via Zoom or Teams, the initial session will centre around getting to know you, your expected goals and to determine what approach would be best suited to your unique experience.

Sessions run for a duration of 60 minutes. Simple art materials are required prior to first session or a small art pack can be supplied for an extra cost. No art skills required, suitable for all ages.

Community group sessions are open to all and designed to allow people to come and explore with others, whilst still focusing on self.  The topics explored may include shared experiences, building connection through creativity or supporting wellbeing.  

 

At the end of the session, reflections may be shared to better understand each others process during the time spent together.

​

Groups will run for 2 hours with a short break. All art materials supplied. Minimum of 4/ maximum of 10 participants. 

Tiny Art Swap 2025

FREE TO PARTICIPATE

Imagine a world where tiny works of art travel across the globe, connecting strangers in unexpected ways. A small surprise arrives in your letterbox, brightening your day. You don’t know the creator, but their tiny artwork sparks your imagination, inviting you to wonder about the person behind the paper.

 

The Tiny Art Swap offers you the chance to share your creativity with the world. Create a small piece of art and, in return, receive one crafted by someone else. It’s an experience open to everyone, because creativity belongs to all of us, not just artists.

DETAILS:

 - These artworks will be received by a broad population of people, so please be considerate of content.

 - A multi-modal approach can be used.

 - No personal details to be included on your artwork.  Signature, name and/ or age optional.

 - Participants age: all ages

 - Dates: approx late Jan until end Nov, 2025 (TBC)

 - Size: Artwork size A6 - fits standard C6 envelope (114 x 162mm).

 - Include: A stamped, self addressed envelope to receive a tiny art back.
